S<\/strong>amuel Moucha (nar. 1982, Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017e) je sou\u010dasn\u00fd \u010desko-francouzsk\u00fd um\u011blec, kter\u00fd origin\u00e1ln\u00edm zp\u016fsobem a zcela svobodn\u011b propojuje v\u00fdtvarn\u00e9 um\u011bn\u00ed s \u0159emeslem, klasick\u00e9 techniky s netradi\u010dn\u00edmi, inovativn\u00edmi postupy. V\u00fdchoz\u00ed je pro n\u011bj grafika, zejm\u00e9na d\u0159evo\u0159ez a linoryt, do jejich\u017e tisk\u016f n\u00e1sledn\u011b (n\u011bkdy i s odstupem n\u011bkolika let) zasahuje malbou, pro\u0159ez\u00e1v\u00e1 je, deformuje anebo jejich matrice vyu\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 pro k\u0159ehk\u00e9 slepotisky z ru\u010dn\u00edho pap\u00edru. Ty pak za\u010dle\u0148uje do brutalistn\u00edch asambl\u00e1\u017e\u00ed, v nich\u017e se zd\u00e1nliv\u011b luxusn\u00ed prvky m\u00eds\u00ed s odpadov\u00fdmi materi\u00e1ly nalezen\u00fdmi na ulici. Samotn\u00fd sb\u011br pou\u017eit\u00fdch beden na ovoce, kter\u00e9 se ka\u017edou noc vr\u0161\u00ed kolem vietnamsk\u00e9ho non-stop obchodu v Dejvic\u00edch, je s\u00e1m o sob\u011b Samuelov\u00fdm spont\u00e1nn\u00edm um\u011bleck\u00fdm aktem. Soubor poetick\u00fdch linoryt\u016f Herb\u00e1\u0159, kter\u00e9 Samuel p\u016fvodn\u011b vytvo\u0159il jako d\u00e1rek pro svoji matku, tak v aktu\u00e1ln\u00edm projektu Herbier brut, vytvo\u0159en\u00e9m speci\u00e1ln\u011b pro galerii Artinbox, v t\u011bchto souvislostech z\u00edsk\u00e1v\u00e1 zcela nov\u00e9 v\u00fdznamy. Otev\u00edr\u00e1 znepokojiv\u00e9 ot\u00e1zky na\u0161\u00ed (ne)zodpov\u011bdnosti v\u016f\u010di p\u0159\u00edrod\u011b, zvrhlosti genetick\u00e9 modifikace u\u017eitkov\u00fdch rostlin \u2013 a v d\u016fsledku i \u010dlov\u011bka \u2013, absurdity bezuzdn\u00e9ho pl\u00fdtv\u00e1n\u00ed a celkov\u00e9 komercionalizace spole\u010dnosti. Navzdory tomu, \u017ee tato t\u00e9mata se v posledn\u00ed dob\u011b zdaj\u00ed b\u00fdt mechanicky om\u00edlan\u00e1, Mouchova pr\u00e1ce rozhodn\u011b nen\u00ed prvopl\u00e1nov\u011b anga\u017eovan\u00e1 a u\u017e v\u016fbec ne poplatn\u00e1 aktu\u00e1ln\u00edm trend\u016fm \u2013 jej\u00ed podstatou je pon\u011bkud \u201ebrut\u00e1ln\u00ed\u201c kreativn\u00ed postup, a p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm podprahov\u00fd humor a nads\u00e1zka, kter\u00e9 z n\u00ed \u010din\u00ed zcela autentickou um\u011bleckou vizi sou\u010dasn\u00e9 spole\u010dnosti.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

S<\/em><\/strong>amuel Moucha (b. 1982, Paris) is a contemporary Czech-French artist who, in an original and entirely unrestricted way, combines fine art with craftsmanship and classical techniques with unconventional, innovative approaches. His point of departure is printmaking, particularly woodcut and linocut. He subsequently intervenes in his prints \u2014 sometimes after a gap of several years \u2014 by painting over them, cutting into them, or deforming them; alternatively, he uses the printing blocks to create delicate blind embossings on handmade paper. These are then incorporated into Brutalist assemblages in which seemingly luxurious elements mingle with discarded materials found in the street. The very act of collecting used fruit crates, which pile up every night around a Vietnamese 24-hour shop in Prague\u2019s Dejvice district, is in itself one of Samuel\u2019s spontaneous artistic acts. The series of poetic linocuts entitled Herbarium, originally created by Samuel as a gift for his mother, acquires entirely new meanings in the context of his current project, Herbier brut, created especially for Artinbox Gallery. It raises unsettling questions about our (ir)responsibility towards nature, the perversity of the genetic modification of cultivated plants \u2014 and, by extension, of human beings \u2014 the absurdity of rampant waste, and the overall commercialisation of society. Although these themes may lately seem to have been repeated almost mechanically, Moucha\u2019s work is by no means overtly activist, much less beholden to current trends. At its core lies a somewhat \u201cbrutal\u201d creative process and, above all, an undercurrent of humour and irony that makes it an entirely authentic artistic vision of contemporary society.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
