Pr\u016f\u0159ezov\u00e1 v\u00fdstava jednoho z nejv\u00fdrazn\u011bj\u0161\u00edch p\u0159edstavitel\u016f Nov\u00e9 slovensk\u00e9 vlny, skupiny progresivn\u00edch fotograf\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed se zformovali v polovin\u011b 80. let na pra\u017esk\u00e9 FAMU pod veden\u00edm Jana \u0160moka, a kter\u00e9 formovala rovn\u011b\u017e spolupr\u00e1ce s Annou F\u00e1rovou a u Mira \u0160vol\u00edka i studia na St\u0159edn\u00ed Um\u011blecko-pr\u016fmyslov\u00e9 \u0161kole v Bratislav\u011b u Miloty Havr\u00e1nkov\u00e1 . Typick\u00fdm prvkem tvorby tu byla p\u0159ev\u00e1\u017en\u011b pr\u00e1ce s inscenovanou fotografi\u00ed, hravost, smysl pro humor.. Na v\u00fdstav\u011b v Artinbox Gallery Miro \u0160vol\u00edk (*13. 4. 1960) p\u0159edstav\u00ed pr\u016f\u0159ez sv\u00e9 tvorby, s d\u016frazem na posledn\u00ed t\u0159i soubory: Pocta v\u0161em m\u00fdm inspirac\u00edm (2018), Pa\u0159\u00ed\u017esk\u00fd spleen – Charles Baudelaire (2021) a Post Mortem (2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

U Mira \u0160vol\u00edka nach\u00e1z\u00edme v m\u00ed\u0159e vrchovat\u00e9 to, co definovalo, a v 80. a 90. letech minul\u00e9ho stolet\u00ed vyneslo na vrchol, \u010dleny tzv. Slovensk\u00e9 nov\u00e9 vlny: kreativitu, nev\u00e1zanost, hravost, smysl pro humor a v neposledn\u00ed \u0159ad\u011b pochopen\u00ed podstaty siln\u00e9ho a hlubok\u00e9ho vizu\u00e1ln\u00edho sd\u011blen\u00ed skrze m\u00e9dium fotografie na pomez\u00ed experimentu.
Miro \u0160vol\u00edk na v\u00fdstav\u011b L\u00c1SKA A SMRT vzd\u00e1v\u00e1 poctu \u017een\u00e1m – nositelk\u00e1m \u017eivota, touhy, l\u00e1sky, inspirace\u2026, a\u0165 u\u017e se jedn\u00e1 o matky, man\u017eelky, babi\u010dky, milenky, modelky, studentky, m\u00fazy \u010di kamar\u00e1dky\u2026
T\u00e9ma zpracov\u00e1v\u00e1 na z\u00e1klad\u011b sv\u00e9 vlastn\u00ed \u017eivotn\u00ed cesty, nebo pou\u017e\u00edv\u00e1 p\u0159\u00edb\u011bhy sv\u00fdch bl\u00edzk\u00fdch a zn\u00e1m\u00fdch, inspirac\u00ed je mu i poezie \u010di \u017eivotn\u00ed p\u0159\u00edb\u011bh francouzsk\u00e9ho b\u00e1sn\u00edka Charlese Baudelaira. \u010c\u00e1st v\u00fdstavy tvo\u0159\u00ed fotografie, kter\u00e9 vznikly v posledn\u00edch letech, v dob\u011b Covidu, a kter\u00e9 jsou pou\u017eity jako vizu\u00e1ln\u00ed \u010d\u00e1st knihy s texty Fedora G\u00e1la pod n\u00e1zvem POST MORTEM.
Tato v\u00fdstava n\u00e1s vrac\u00ed k podstat\u011b \u017eivota, ke kolob\u011bhu zrozen\u00ed a um\u00edr\u00e1n\u00ed, k t\u011bm prav\u00fdm, nejvy\u0161\u0161\u00edm, ob\u010das v materialistick\u00e9 a patriarch\u00e1ln\u00ed spole\u010dnosti p\u0159ehl\u00ed\u017een\u00fdm, \u010di podce\u0148ovan\u00fdm hodnot\u00e1m, jako jsou zdrav\u00e9 vztahy, l\u00e1ska, rodina, soun\u00e1le\u017eitost, p\u00e9\u010de, starostlivost, empatie\u2026, vrac\u00ed n\u00e1s k t\u011bm hodnot\u00e1m, kter\u00e9 s plynut\u00edm \u010dasu, \u010d\u00edm d\u00e1l v\u00edc v \u017eivot\u011b nab\u00fdvaj\u00ed na v\u00fdznamu a nastavuj\u00ed zrcadlo na\u0161im p\u0159e\u017eit\u00fdm rok\u016fm a hodnot\u00e1m, kter\u00e9 jsme v nich up\u0159ednostnili.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A cross-sectional exhibition of one of the most prominent representatives of the New Slovak Wave, a group of progressive photographers who formed in the mid-1980s at FAMU in Prague under the guidance of Jan \u0160mok, and who were also shaped by their collaboration with Anna F\u00e1rov\u00e1 and Miro \u0160vol\u00edk’s studies at the Secondary School of Arts and Industry in Bratislava under Milota Havr\u00e1nkov\u00e1 . At the exhibition at the Artinbox Gallery, Miro \u0160vol\u00edk (*13 April 1960) will present a cross-section of his work, with an emphasis on his last three collections: Homage to All My Inspirations (2018), Parisian Spleen – Charles Baudelaire (2021) and Post Mortem (2022).<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miro \u0160vol\u00edk’s exhibition brought to the Prague Artinbox Gallery the aroma of French bohemia and plein air, as well as Slovak sincerity and directness, within the framework of the most profound themes – themes of love, death, fate, attraction, dependence, detachment or determination…
In Miro \u0160vol\u00edk, we find to a great extent what defined, and brought to the top in the 1980s and 1990s, the members of the so-called Slovak New Wave: creativity, exuberance, playfulness, a sense of humour and, last but not least, an understanding of the essence of a strong and profound visual message through the medium of photography on the borderline of experimentation.
In the exhibition LOVE AND DEATH, Miro \u0160vol\u00edk pays tribute to women – bearers of life, desire, love, inspiration…, whether they are mothers, wives, grandmothers, lovers, models, students, muses or friends…
He works on the theme based on his own life journey, or uses stories of his friends and family, inspired by poetry or the life story of the French poet Charles Baudelaire. Part of the exhibition consists of photographs taken in recent years, during the Covid era, which are used as a visual part of a book with texts by Fedor G\u00e1l entitled POST MORTEM.
This exhibition brings us back to the essence of life, to the cycle of birth and death, to those true, supreme values, sometimes overlooked or underestimated in a materialistic and patriarchal society, such as healthy relationships, love, family, belonging, care, concern, empathy… , brings us back to those values which, as time passes, become more and more important in our lives and set a mirror to our past years and the values we have prioritized in them.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n


The price of all photographs in the exhibited set is 50,000 CZK \/ 2,000 euros \/, without frame and mount. The photos have an edition number, limited edition of 15 pieces, technique: Epson print<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
