Mottem se stal v\u00fdrok ukrajinsk\u00e9ho prezidenta Volodymyra Zelensk\u00e9ho v projevu pro Evropsk\u00fd Parlament 1. 3. 2022: \u201e\u017divot p\u0159em\u016f\u017ee smrt. Sv\u011btlo p\u0159em\u016f\u017ee tmu.\u201c Flor\u00e1ln\u00ed t\u00e9mata se stabiln\u011b objevuj\u00ed ve v\u00fdtvarn\u00e9m um\u011bn\u00ed nap\u0159\u00ed\u010d stalet\u00edmi. V\u00fdb\u011br d\u011bl pro projekt Flor\u00e1lie v Museu Montanelli se soust\u0159ed\u00ed na imaginativn\u00ed princip tvorby. Rozmanitost v\u00fdtvarn\u00fdch p\u0159\u00edstup\u016f i prost\u0159edk\u016f od klasick\u00fdch m\u00e9di\u00ed jako je kresba, malba, grafick\u00e1 technika mezzotinty a plastika p\u0159es experiment\u00e1ln\u00ed v\u00fd\u0161ivky a kol\u00e1\u017ee a\u017e po videoart i uk\u00e1zky designov\u00e9 tvorby (sklo, \u0161perk\u2026) zrcadl\u00ed mno\u017estv\u00ed flor\u00e1ln\u00edch forem ve vnit\u0159n\u00edm i vn\u011bj\u0161\u00edm prostoru tv\u016frc\u016f. Mezi vystaven\u00fdmi autory najdeme spiritistick\u00e1 m\u00e9dia z prvn\u00ed poloviny 20. stolet\u00ed, v\u00fdznamnou autorku sv\u011btov\u00e9ho art brut Annu Zem\u00e1nkovou a dal\u0161\u00ed spont\u00e1nn\u00ed tv\u016frce, ale p\u0159edev\u0161\u00edm n\u011bkolik des\u00edtek d\u011bl sou\u010dasn\u00fdch \u010desk\u00fdch i zahrani\u010dn\u00edch autor\u016f, kte\u0159\u00ed kv\u011bty sp\u00ed\u0161e, ne\u017e pro jejich dekorativnost vyu\u017e\u00edvaj\u00ed jako projekci skryt\u00fdch v\u00fdznam\u016f a vnit\u0159n\u00edch pocit\u016f \u010dlov\u011bka 20. a 21. stolet\u00ed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Floralia exhibition offers a counterpoint to the unsettling atmosphere of recent times. It aims to be an encouraging celebration of the indomitable vital forces of nature, a fulfilment of the desire for beauty and renewal. The statement of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his speech to the European Parliament on 1 March 2022 was chosen as a motto of the project: \u201cAnd then life will win over death and light will win over darkness.\u201d Natural themes have appeared steadily in visual art across the centuries. The depiction of plants has varied from the descriptive naturalistic to decorative and to the abstractly symbolic, too. Flowers provide a wide range of symbolic meanings, from hope and faith, tenderness, fragility, love, birth, flowering, intoxication, passion, as well as unfulfilled desire, destruction, betrayal and disappointment, to dying and vanitas – the feeling of impermanence and futility of being. Their multifaceted iconography enables the expression of the whole spectrum of states and feelings accompanying human existence. The selection of works for the Floralia \/ In Sacrifio Florum project in Museum Montanelli focuses on the imaginative principle of creation. The variety of artistic approaches and means represented, ranging from classical media such as drawing, painting, mezzotint and sculpture, to experimental embroideries, collages and video art as well as examples of design work (glass, jewellery\u2026), all mirrors the multitude of floral forms in the inner and outer space of a creator. Among the exhibited artists we can find spiritistic mediums from the first half of the 20th century, Anna Zem\u00e1nkov\u00e1, an important author of world art brut, and other spontaneous creators, but above all several dozen artworks by contemporary Czech and foreign artists who use flowers as a projection of hidden meanings and inner feelings of a 20th and 21st century wo\/man rather than for decorative purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
